Caiporro

Caiporro is a group of beautifully renovated farmhouse, tobacco tower and medieval watchtower on a hilltop with an impressive view over the Tiber valley and woodlands. It is in a good spot for day trips around Umbria and nearby Tuscany. It is centrally located (within day tour distance) to Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio, Lake Trasimeno, Arezzo, Cortona.

The owner, a painter, lives in the main farmhouse. The comfortable houses stand in their own ground and gardens on a hilltop. The houses are stone built with beamed ceilings and elegantly furnished with traditional and Asian furniture and antiques.

Location
 Northern Umbria with a walk to the local village of Fabrecce, near Trestina and (12 kms) to Citta di Castello. 40 kms to Perugia, capital of Umbria and 50 minutes from Arezzo.
Setting Property set on 11 acres of garden. Great views from the Towers. Accommodation is in converted ancient farm buildings, renovated with antiques both Tuscan and Asian. A unique place with an artists touch. .
Number of Villas & Apartments There are 3 properties sleeping between 2 and 5 persons. One is a farmhouse, one a medieval tower, and one a converted tobacco tower. All rooms have windows and views. Houses feature outdoor areas.
Apartment Facilities All houses are complete with central heating, a fully equipped kitchen, a living area and at least 1 bathroom. Breakfast is prepared over the weekend. The houses have views over the Tiber Valley and the woodlands. The houses are furnished in traditional Tuscan manner with antiques although the tobacco tower also reflects the Asian experience of the owner artist. The 2 towers have outdoor areas for dining al fresco.
Property Features Interestingly, as well as traditional Tuscan architecture and antiques, the houses reflect the artists touch with original paintings, and include a very Asian influence in some of the antiques and décor.
